StartGate, an ecosystem shaping the future of the digital gaming industry, presents an exciting new opportunity for game developers! In the StartGate Game Jam, taking place on December 13-15, 2024, participants will work together in teams to design and develop original games over a 48-hour period, experiencing all stages of the development process.
Those who wish to participate in person can do so at the StartGate Campus. For those who prefer to participate online, StartGate Game Jam will be hosted on a surprise platform in collaboration with Atlas Space and Game Actor!
Event Objective
The goal of the StartGate Game Jam is to bring game developers together, foster creativity, cultivate new talent for the industry, and contribute to the future of the gaming industry. This marathon offers participants the opportunity to:
- Generate original ideas: Develop unique game concepts within a given theme.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with individuals from different disciplines to create synergy.
- Rapid prototyping: Experience all stages of the game development process in a limited time.
- Network with industry professionals: Interact with leading figures in the gaming industry and share their experiences.

Event Program
- Preparation Week: From December 9-12, 2024, participants will attend webinars on the StartGate YouTube channel to learn about the game development process and prepare for the competition.
- Game Jam: The 48-hour game development marathon will take place simultaneously at the StartGate Campus and online platform from December 13-15, 2024.
- Demo Day: On December 21, 2024, participants will present demos of their developed games, which will be evaluated by a jury. Winners will be announced live on December 22, 2024.
Exciting Finale and Award Ceremony
Presentations of the developed games will be broadcast live on YouTube on December 21st. The best games, as determined by the jury, will be announced and awarded at the ceremony on December 22nd.
Top-ranking participants will have the opportunity to intern at major gaming companies such as Rollic, Zynga, IO Interactive, UDO Games, Noko Games, FOMO Games, Atlas Space, and TaleWorlds. Additionally, a surprise prize from MSI awaits the winners.
