Volkan Bozkaya, the former Co-Founder and CEO of Catoptric Games, has announced his transition to Devotion Interactive as the new Head of Global Publishing. The move follows a successful four-and-a-half-year tenure at Catoptric Games, which Bozkaya concluded with a “mini-exit” from his management and ownership positions.
Bozkaya leaves behind a legacy of successful indie titles at Catoptric, including Pile Up!, Toy Shire, The Chef’s Shift, The RPG and more. Reflecting on his departure, Bozkaya expressed pride in the team and the structure built during his first major entrepreneurial journey.

A Viral “Among Us Moment” in China
In February, Devotion Interactive’s Climber Animals: Together experienced a massive resurgence.
Despite being released nearly two years ago, a strategic marketing push focused on the Chinese market triggered a viral phenomenon:
- Sales: Over 2 million copies sold in a single month.
- Revenue: Generated more than $6 million.
Bozkaya likened the event to a “second Among Us moment,” proving the immense potential of revitalizing existing IP through targeted global marketing.

New Publishing Frontiers
Leveraging his experience managing 15 teams across 10 countries at Catoptric, Bozkaya is now leading Devotion Interactive’s international publishing arm and secured a co-op physics game about teamwork, clumsiness, and the unstoppable power of honking with An Eggstremely Hard Game.
“The game had around 40,000 wishlists at signing and has now surpassed 60,000 within a month,” Bozkaya noted, signaling strong momentum for the title’s upcoming launch.
You can check out the game’s demo on Steam.
Further details regarding the studio’s upcoming portfolio are expected to be released in the future.
