Plans for 2023
WePlay plans to expand into 13 countries, including Netherlands and Türkiye, to establish the region’s largest investment and acceleration center.
Burak Yılmaz, Managing Director of WePlay said,
“We aim to give our best support to the game industry, first in Turkey and then globally. Looking at the past two years, we are pleased to see that we have made great progress. The exit we made in a short time, like one year, was proof of our vision. In 2023, we aim to expand our investments into Europe, Türkiye, and Central Asia by further investments and establishing the largest investment and acceleration platform in the region.”
Considering that acquiring more than 200 studios into its incubation centers in 18 months and increasing the number of investments to 40 are also among its plans, 2023 is likely to be an even more active year for WePlay Ventures.
