At the 2022 Meta Connect conference, Meta announced Xbox Cloud Gaming and several other games will be available in Meta Quest.

With the Xbox Cloud Gaming service, users will be able to connect Xbox controllers to Quest headsets and play games available through Xbox Game Pass. Games that are not VR compatible will also be available to Meta Quest. These will be played as “playing on a private movie theater screen” as described by Meta’s Oculus Blog. Currently, no release date has been declared yet.
Other announced games include big titles like Iron Man VR, Among US VR, and The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Chapter 2: Retribution. A brand new project from Skydance Interactive called Behemoth.
Meta has also announced that its next VR device, previously dubbed “Project Cambria,” will be named Meta Quest Pro. The headset will be available starting October 25 with a price tag of $1,499.
Brazilian regulators investigating Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard led to the reveal of Xbox Game Pass revenue. Xbox Game Pass has earned over $2.9 billion in 2021, the figure doesn’t include PC Game Pass revenue.
