Skillz announces the addition of Kevin Chessen to its board of directors

Chessen comes with prior experience working in various executive roles.

Mobile games platform Skillz has announced the addition of Kevin Chessen to the Skillz board of directors. The company stated that Chessen will serve on the board’s audit committee.

Chessen is known for co-founding the global financial services firm BTIG and its predecessor firm Baypoint Trading in 2002. The experienced executive also served as a BTIG Global Operating Committee member.

Andrew Paradise, CEO of Skillz, commented:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Kevin Chessen to our board. His extensive expertise in investment and finance will be invaluable as we build the next chapter of Skillz.”

Kevin Chessen also added some thoughts:

Chessen’s previous work includes companies such as Banc of America Securities, Merrill Lynch, and the International Trading Desk at S.G. Warburg. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
