Grand Games tops U.S. iOS charts with #1 and #2 games

Turkish mobile game developer Grand Games has achieved a rare milestone in the global mobile games market, securing both the #1 and #2 positions in the most downloaded iOS games ranking in the United States.

Grand Games‘ titles Block Out! – Color Sort Puzzle and Magic Sort! currently occupy the top two spots on the U.S. iOS download charts. According to AppMagic estimates, the two games generated approximately 11 million downloads and $11 million in in-app purchase (IAP) revenue over the past 30 days.

Both titles are also performing strongly on the revenue side, ranking among the top-grossing iOS games in the U.S., a combination that signals not just scale in user acquisition but also effective monetization.

A fast-rising Turkish publisher

Founded in early 2024 by Bekir Batuhan Çelebi, Mustafa Fırtına, and Mehmet Çalım, Grand Games has quickly established itself as one of the fastest-growing mobile game companies in Türkiye. The founding team previously worked together at Good Job Games, bringing strong experience in casual mobile game development.

Within less than a year, the company entered the top five highest-grossing Turkish mobile game publishers, positioning itself alongside industry leaders such as Dream Games and Peak Games.

Its rapid rise has been supported by early investment, including a $3 million seed round led by Earlybird with participation from Laton Ventures, allowing the studio to scale operations and accelerate production.

Execution at scale

Grand Games operates with a cell-based development structure, enabling small teams to rapidly prototype and launch new titles. This approach has allowed the company to iterate quickly and bring multiple games to market in a short timeframe.

The studio’s focus on casual and hybrid-casual puzzle games aligns with some of the most scalable segments in mobile gaming, where simple mechanics paired with strong retention and monetization loops can drive both downloads and revenue.
