MobileAction, a pioneer in app analytics and the growth partner for apps and games on organic and paid user acquisition, founded by Aykut Karaalioğlu, is joining InMobi as part of its next growth phase, focused on AI-driven marketing and privacy-first advertising ecosystems.
Originally launched to help developers improve app discoverability on the App Store, MobileAction later expanded into Apple Ads optimization and mobile growth solutions.
According to Karaalioğlu, the company faced significant challenges in its early years, including difficulties raising a Series A round in 2016. Following that period, MobileAction shifted its focus toward building sustainable products and strengthening its position within the Apple Ads ecosystem.
Over time, the company evolved from a small app store optimization tool into a broader mobile marketing platform serving global brands and managing billions of dollars in ad spend. Karaalioğlu stated that MobileAction now provides marketers with data across millions of apps, keywords, creatives, and advertisers to support campaign decision-making.
The company also expanded its market presence in 2025 through the acquisition of Skai’s Apple Ads business, a move that Karaalioğlu said brought larger customers, additional talent, and increased scale to the business.
Commenting on the decision to join InMobi, Karaalioğlu said:
Together, we are better positioned to help brands acquire users and grow in a privacy-first, AI-driven world. For our customers, nothing changes—except we get better. More resources, a stronger team, faster innovation, and broader global reach.
When I look back, the difference wasn’t talent or connections. The difference was simple: we stayed. We stayed when it was uncomfortable. We stayed when it didn’t make sense. We stayed when quitting felt rational.
If you’re building something, you don’t need the perfect background. You just need to stay in the game longer than most.
Karaalioğlu thanked angel investors, customers, and his team and said, “We’re just getting started.”
