Mobile gaming giant Azur Games acquired 30% of the French mobile game developer Pinpin Team. Azur Games completed this acquisition through its investment program that launched back in 2021.

Cyprus-based developer and publisher has been on the market for new talent for a while now and the official press release underlines that“Investing in partners is one of the company’s key directions at the moment.”
Headquartered in Paris, Pinpin Team saw over 80 million downloads since it was established back in 2008. The French gaming firm’s hyper-casual adventure started in 2017 with a game called Golf Orbit, which generated over 10 million downloads since its launch.
Dmitry Yaminsky, Azur Games Co-founder said they’ve been keeping a close tab on Pinpin for a long time and found the team highly professional. Hence came the strategic partnership offer. Yaminsky added the following bit to his statement:
“Azur Games’ investment leverage and marketing expertise will help Pinpin Team to fully focus on developing new products and increase the company’s capitalization. In turn, we’ll gladly take over the publishing of all the company’s gaming projects.”

Azur Games’ titles crossed 3 billion downloads as of July 2022, and the mobile gaming giant is interested in making new long-term partnerships in the ever-growing competitive mobile gaming market.
The mobile game maker and publisher Azur Games also acquired stakes in KobGames Studios and Skyrocket in 2021.
