CDPR announced the release date of the next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The Polish video game giant CD Projekt Red has announced the next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on December 14th, 2022. All free DLCs released to date, and both major expansions: Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine will be featured in the update.

Award-winning RPG will feature visual, performance, and technical enhancements over the original, including ray tracing support, faster loading times on consoles, and various mods integrated into the experience, among many others. New additional content inspired by The Witcher series from Netflix will be revealed in the REDstreams event on Twitch, where the game will be presented.

CDPR previously announced that there will be five new Witcher games coming, including a new Witcher trilogy, two Witcher spin-off games. One of the titles later revealed to be a The Witcher remake by Fool’s Theory, a Polish studio formed by ex-Witcher veterans.
