On April 10, 2026, at the Sabancı Kültür Merkezi, the Mobidictum Games & Apps Summit İzmir gathered over 400+ attendees for a day filled with high-level networking and industry-defining insights.
As Mobidictum Founder Batuhan Avucan noted during his opening remarks, İzmir holds a special place in our journey:
“This is actually our fourth event in Izmir, with the first one taking place in 2022. Since then, the ecosystem here has changed a lot. It’s great to see how the Izmir game development community is growing. Please keep building here and don’t lose all the talent to Istanbul.”

Expanding the Horizon: From Games to Apps
This summit marked a strategic evolution for Mobidictum. For the first time, we officially added “Apps” to the event title, signaling a broader vision for the mobile ecosystem.
“The goal is to expand our audience beyond gaming.
The mobile ecosystem shares many of the same challenges, whether it’s platforms, ad networks, distribution, or user acquisition. Because of this, you will start seeing more app companies joining our events in the future.”
Batuhan Avucan, Founder of Mobidictum

The Big News: Mobidictum Fund & The Future of Networking
A primary highlight of the summit was the formal introduction of the Mobidictum Fund. Structured as a Venture Capital Investment Fund (GSYF), the initiative represents a significant step toward institutionalizing financial support within the regional ecosystem.
During the announcement, Batuhan Avucan extended a strategic invitation to industry veterans and established founders to participate in reinvesting in the sector’s future.
“I am addressing fellow founders and company owners here. If we can return even a small portion of the dividends you distribute at the end of the year back into the ecosystem, we can contribute to the birth of new companies.
I am currently in the research phase; the sooner we act, the better. You all know the success stories of studios that were just starting their investment rounds this time last year.”

Furthermore, the Mobidictum website will soon transition into a business network platform, offering support in areas such as government incentives, legal needs, onboarding, and recruitment consultancy through specialized partners.

Enhanced Networking via Brella
Efficiency is central to growth, which is why we officially debuted Brella as our networking platform for this event.
“We are using a new networking platform called Brella. For our next events, we plan to have our own application within the Brella ecosystem. Please use it to arrange meetings, send messages, and provide us with feedback.”
