The previously announced Ghostbusters VR game, now named Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord will be launched in 2023. Newly named game will be available for PlayStation VR2 and Meta Quest 2.

Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord will be developed by nDreams and published by Sony Pictures Virtual Reality. Ghost Corps, led by Ghostbusters movies’ actor Dan Aykroyd will be overseeing the story.
Players can customize their characters with iconic Ghostbusters equipments and costumes. Ghostbusters movies took place in New York City, but the new VR game will take players to San Francisco. The new cast of characters will be chasing ghosts at places like The Golden Gate Bridge and other landmarks.
Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord will have single player and co-op gameplay.
Meta has just launched Meta Quest Pro on October 25 with a price tag of $1,499. Meta Quest 2 and Pro are fully compatible. However, Sony’s VR2 will be out in early 2023 and will not support older games.
