MY.GAMES appoints Elena Grigorian as the new CEO

MY.GAMES, the European video game publisher and developer based in Amsterdam, has announced a change in leadership with the appointment of Elena Grigorian as the new Chief Executive Officer. Effective immediately, Grigorian, who previously served as MY.GAMES Chief Strategy Officer takes over from Vladimir Nikolsky, the co-founder and outgoing CEO.

Elena Grigorian is an integral part of MY.GAMES, since its inception, initially served as Chief Marketing Officer. With over two decades of experience in the game industry, including a significant tenure in a top position at Disney’s video games unit, Grigorian is recognized for her marketing and strategic management expertise. Under her leadership, MY.GAMES achieved notable milestones, witnessing a 14-fold increase in effective marketing investments and a fourfold growth in business.

In her role as CEO, Grigorian expressed enthusiasm for the future, stating:

Over the past year, our company has set out on a remarkable journey, marked by the opening of new offices and markets, the launch of innovative products, the execution of large-scale campaigns, and the establishment of significant partnerships. Looking ahead, 2024 is poised to be an even more monumental year for us.”

Vladimir Nikolsky expressed satisfaction with the company’s achievements over the past year, citing the completion of a transformative deal that elevated MY.GAMES to new heights. He remarked on successfully fulfilling business goals and expanding the company’s global footprint. Nikolsky emphasized that the leadership transition aligns with the succession plans established during the company’s restructuring.

Throughout the past year, MY.GAMES substantially expanded, opening offices and hubs in the UAE, Serbia, Georgia, and Armenia. The company introduced new titles, including War Robots: Frontiers, Little Big Robots, and HAWKED. Key products in the company’s portfolio, such as Rush Royale, War Robots, Hustle Castle, Left to Survive, and Grand Hotel Mania, experienced significant growth in revenue and installations.

Rush Royale, for instance, achieved over 63 million installs and generated $230 million in revenue. War Robots, a flagship title, reached a milestone of over 250 million registered players, with lifetime gross revenue exceeding $750 million since its launch. MY.GAMES supports local game dev communities and maintains membership in core industry associations, including The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment (UKIE), TechIsland (Cyprus), and the Dutch Gaming Association. The company remains committed to growth and anticipates a monumental 2024.
