Established in 2022, following Forte’s acquisition of the N3twork technology platform, N3twork Studios focuses on creating innovative Web3 titles. Leveraging their experience in creating immersive, social F2P (free-to-play) titles, N3twork Studios is committed to crafting games that can stand alongside established Web2 counterparts. Diverging from prevailing trends in blockchain-based gaming, the studio incorporates Web3 features as supplementary elements rather than central components.
By streamlining user onboarding, N3twork Studios’ games aim to gently introduce newcomers to Web3 mechanics, allowing them to engage at their own pace. The studio seeks to educate players about the benefits of blockchain technology and underscore its potential to enhance the user-developer relationship when adequately utilized.
With $46 million in Series A funding from 2022, N3twork Studios boasts an experienced team of developers with a strong background in prominent industry companies like EA, Kabam, Zynga, Glu, and Disney. The team is currently focused on creating two upcoming titles that bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3.
One of these titles is “Legendary: Heroes Unchained,” a cross-platform RPG that enables players to collect on-chain heroes and gear, partake in PvP battles, and join Guild versus Guild (GvG) events. LHU aims to onboard crypto enthusiasts and traditional RPG players with a growing community of over 50,000 users.
The other game that the N3twork Studios works on to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3 games is “Triumph.” A multiplayer squad RPG that combines Web3 and F2P elements, emphasizing player-centric and rewarding gameplay. Players will assemble and enhance their hero squad, competing for top positions on global leaderboards.
To support the development and launch of these games, N3twork Studios has expanded its team with key hires, including Joshua Sell (COO), Gia Hua (VP of Finance), and Benjamin Jordan (VP of Engineering).
Matt Ricchetti, President of N3twork Studios, stresses the importance of creating games that seamlessly integrate engaging gameplay, meaningful Web3 features, and user-friendly mechanics. Ricchetti believes that strategic integration of digital ownership into well-crafted games could drive shifts in the game industry.
