UK-based VR developer and publisher nDreams acquired Near Light for an undisclosed sum. Both companies had been working together for several years.

nDreams had received a $35 million investment from Aonic Group last March and Near Light became the first acquisition after the investment. nDreams published two Near Light games in previous years, Shooty Fruity and Perfect. Near Light is also working on an unannounced VR game which which will also be published by nDreams.
nDreams is currently working on Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord,with Sony Pictures Virtual Reality and Meta, which will be launched in 2023.
NDreams was founded in 2014 and developed games such as Phantom: Covert Ops, Fracked, and Far Cry: Dive Into Insanity.
