“Play believes web browsers are the next frontier for verticalized opportunities and we are thrilled to be working alongside the Ray team in building the de facto web browser for gamers globally.

We are witnessing an ongoing trend of consumer technology being unbundled, including social media and ecommerce, and see web browsers as the next frontier.

We believe that Ray is best positioned to capture the opportunity of building a dedicated browser for gaming, especially in the wake of other new browser developers such as Island and The Browser Company, as well as recent tech breakthroughs around WebGPU and WebAssembly allowing for complex games to be ran on web.”

“Great games like Squadblast and Stumbleguys have already proven the success of browser-based gaming, and we have a huge opportunity to be the preferred platform for both players and developers.

For modern multi-tasking gamers especially, Ray Browser is a single solution where they can play, create, work, and browse the web all without having to leave the platform. That is a powerful offering.”
