During the 2022 Connect conference, Meta announced that Bonelab became the fastest-selling game in Quest history by making $1 million in revenue just one hour after its release. The game also saw success on Steam with over 6000 mostly positive reviews. Bonelab, developed by Stress Level Zero, is the sequel to the popular Boneworks, a sandbox game focused on physics-based gameplay.

Bonelab is not the only game that had success on its launch. During its first 24 hours, Resident Evil 4 made $2 million in revenue. Zenith: The Last City and Blade & Sorcery: Nomad both made $1 million in just one day.
Meta has sold over $1.5 billion games and apps in Quest Store since 2019.
Meta also announced the Xbox Game Pass service and several other Quest games, including Iron Man VR, Among US VR, and The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Chapter 2: Retribution. A brand new project from Skydance Interactive called Behemoth.
Meta’s new VR device Meta Quest Pro will be available on October 25 with a price tag of $1499.
