Turborilla has secured a $5 million credit facility through Metica, with Metica CEO Phil Mohr describing the deal as a $5 million non-dilutive UA funding facility via Metica Fuel.
Wright said Turborilla posted its best financial month in more than three years in December, and framed the facility as capital that will support the studio’s next phase of growth. He also thanked Phil Mohr, Krupa Modi, and Mateusz Bochenczak, noting they worked with Turborilla over the past month to finalize the agreement.
John Wright became the CEO of Turborilla back in June 2025, bringing renewed energy and vision to the action sports game studio behind over 200 million global downloads.

Metica describes Metica Fuel as a UA funding product intended to help mobile studios scale acquisition with financing tied to performance and paired with UA and monetization support.
Turborilla is an independent studio headquartered in Umeå, Sweden, best known for the Mad Skills franchise, including Mad Skills Motocross 3, Mad Skills BMX 2, and Mad Skills Rallycross.
It’s not every day you get to partner with a great company and a great friend.
Really proud to share that we can support John Wright and the team at Turborilla with a $5M non-dilutive UA funding facility through Metica Fuel.
Phil Mohr, CEO at Metica
