Warner Bros. and Discovery merger led many fans to fear the future of their favorite project. The media giant is looking for new ways to cut costs. Recently many projects were canceled on the Warner Bros. Studios’ side. Some of them shocked the fans—especially the cancelation of the Batgirl movie, which was nearly completely done. Besides the Batgirl movie, many HBO Max programs are getting axed one by one. After WB Games president David Haddad’s interview, it seems like the game division is profitable, so there won’t be any changes anytime soon.

WB Games is behind many video games and franchises, including Rocksteady’s Batman Arkham series, Shadow of Mordor, and, most recently, MultFiVersus. The studio is planning to release new games like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and the highly anticipated Hogwarts Legacy.

Unfortunately, Warner Bros. delayed Hogwarts Legacy to February 10, 2023, which takes place in the 1800s Hogwarts. The open-world action-adventure RP will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. The Nintendo Switch version still has no release date, but it’s on the way.

On the other hand, Warner Bros. Games’ most recent game, MultiVersus, crossed 20 million players in less than a month. The platform fighter game was developed by Player First Games and published by Warner Bros. WB Games recently announced the significant milestone the game reached during its open beta period. The game is free on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC.
