Unreal, Unity Programming Challenges, and UX Challenge
Aside from the familiar Art Challenges, the Unreal Engine Challenge returns but will now be one of the two Programming Challenges for the fair. Unity has joined the event as a sponsor and provides a task for a Unity Challenge. In addition, the fair will have a UX Challenge. Keep your eyes on the website for more details on these coming soon.
Brand New Workshops Offer Practical Skills
Games Job Fair Spring 2023 aims to offer more hands-on training by industry experts. The Legal Employment Clinic workshop by Maria Jauhiainen will give you legal employment advice, and Milla Pennanen will guide you “Towards Equal Worklife”. At the same time, Redhill Games will hold an environment art workshop.
Gaming City Espoo
The City of Espoo is joining the fun this time around, sponsoring the fair’s Hybrid Day (April 28) as just the beginning of its plans to develop a thriving local games industry ecosystem. All the talks for the day will be live-streamed for online audiences. At the same time, onsite participants get to enjoy in-person networking with games studios, workshops, and other fun activities at the beautiful space of the Technopolis Innopoli 2 campus.
