Metica has announced a 5$ million funding line for mobile studio Gear Games. The capital, delivered through Metica’s Metica Fuel product, is specifically designated to drive the global scaling of games like Arcane Rush.
Led by Mathias Lino, with over 15 years of industry experience, Gear Games has a strong track record, including co-development work on major mobile hits such as Scopely’s Marvel Strike Force and WWE Champions, and Rovio’s Angry Birds Match.
“Our partnership will focus on scaling their new title Arcane Rush globally.
At Metica we are supporting Gear Games with non-dilutive financing, combined with our UA and monetization expertise, so they can fuel expansion and amplify growth without giving up equity.
This is one of the main reasons we built Metica Fuel – to give games a more flexible, and affordable way to scale their games.”
Justin Stolzenberg, Co-Founder at Metica

Arcane Rush fuses two popular genres, offering players a free-to-play digital card game that incorporates strategic auto-battler mechanics.
Players engage in dynamic battles by building custom decks of allies, spells, and artifacts. They select from a roster of over 50 unique heroes, each equipped with distinct abilities, to gain an edge against opponents. The game often pits up to 16 players against each other in a strategic, winner-take-all contest.
Crucially, the game is built for the mobile environment. Its design features an asynchronous format, allowing users to pause sessions and resume play later, offering flexibility that separates it from demanding real-time competitors.
