In December 2015, Mobidictum launched as a mobile game news platform, founded by Batuhan Avucan while he was developing mobile games and apps.
Ten years later, it has grown into a broader games industry network spanning media, events, and community, bringing together developers, publishers, investors, service providers, and industry decision-makers.
Mobidictum’s first decade is a story of continued growth: turning coverage into connections, and connections into real-world gatherings where business happens at scale.
Here are the key moments that defined the journey from year one to year ten.
2015–2020: The foundation years
From 2015 through 2020, Mobidictum focused on sharpening its editorial identity, publishing regularly, refining its coverage priorities, and building credibility with professionals who would later become the backbone of its network.
If you want to have a trip to nostalgia lane, you can check out our website’s old version here.

Mobidicum has begun its publishing journey. Hoping it will be a long-lasting adventure, I wish everyone happy reading.
Note: As it’s the first day of launch, there may be some bugs. I look forward to your comments 🙂
And a long-lasting adventure it was! This foundation set up the next phase, bringing the conversations around coverage into structured networking, starting with the first large-scale events in 2021.
2021: A breakout moment for networking at scale
In May 2021, we leaned hard into structured networking with Mobidictum Business Network, an online event that drew 1,027 participants from 52 countries, delivered 32 sessions, and facilitated 220 meetings.

The Business Network was an early proof point of what Mobidictum could become: not just a place to read about the industry, but a place to meet it.
2022: The leap into conference space
In 2022, the Mobidictum Business Conference took place in Istanbul on September 5–6, supported by 93 sponsors, welcoming 2,046 attendants, 100 speakers, and participants from 56 countries.
At the same time, the media side kept growing: We have reported 800,000+ pageviews, 10,000+ email subscribers, and 2M+ LinkedIn impressions that year (along with additional social impressions across platforms).
2023: International growth, stronger media reach
In 2023, we doubled down on both scale and reach.
Mobidictum Conference 2023 brought 1,800 attendees from 62 countries, supported by 78 sponsors, with 133 speakers.
On the media side, we reported 1.2M+ pageviews, 10,500+ email subscribers, and 6M+ total social media reach for the year.
2024: Bigger event footprint, new cities
In 2024, we continued expanding the “where” and “how” of its ecosystem:
Mobidictum Conference 2024 hosted 1,200+ attendees from 52 countries, featured 92 speakers, and ran 48 sessions across three stages—while enabling 2,000 meetings across 28 dedicated meeting tables.
We also pushed into new geographies with Mobidictum Network Lisbon (April 16, 2024), drawing 100+ attendees.
2025: Community, mobile apps expansion, and a broader media footprint
In 2025, we added an always-on layer to our ecosystem with the launch of the Mobidictum Community, designed to support ongoing networking beyond event dates.
In April, we also announced that Mobidictum Conference would expand to include app companies, reflecting the growing overlap between apps and games.
The year’s flagship gathering, Mobidictum Conference 2025, brought together 1,200+ attendees from 65+ countries, hosted 1,650 meetings, featured 100 speakers, and was supported by 72 sponsors.
We also expanded our distribution capabilities by partnering with Mobile Marketing Reads as the first addition to its Media Network—positioned as a way for partners to extend announcements across multiple outlets through a single point of contact.
Here’s to the next 10 years
From Turkiye to Europe’s key gathering points, our mission stays the same: bring the right people into the same room, spark real conversations, and help partnerships form naturally.
We’re also sharpening our media focus, doubling down on the coverage that has made Mobidictum a daily destination for industry professionals.
“Today, Mobidictum is not just a media brand or an event organizer. It has become a business network that connects the global games industry.
A platform built on relationships, trust, and long-term collaboration, much of it happening quietly behind the scenes.
December 27, 2025, marked 10 years since this journey started.
I’m grateful to everyone who contributed, supported, believed, worked, collaborated, or simply crossed paths with Mobidictum over the years. Here’s to the next 10 years.”
