Krafton has announced a partnership with Square Enix to collaborate between the mobile-exclusive PUBG: New State and NieR series. The partnership coincides with the fifth anniversary of NieR Automata, the second game in the series.
Details of the partnership have yet to be revealed, but it will likely include in-game skins and items similar to previous collaborations with games like Arcane and Jujutsu Kaisen.
This collaboration is the second collaboration since PUBG: New State’s launch in November 2021.
Square Enix has made the NieR series mobile with NieR Reincarnation on iOS and Android in February 2021. As part of its fifth anniversary, Square Enix brings a past NieR Automata collaboration back to Reincarnation.
