Turkish technology powerhouse Teknasyon has announced a major organizational transformation with the launch of “The Venture OS,” a new operating model designed to support independent product studios while expanding its investment activities.
Known as one of the oldest and most influential mobile app publishers in Türkiye, Teknasyon is the creator behind globally recognized titles such as Getcontact and eSIM.io. With a multi-product structure shaped by 13 years of experience, the company is now shifting away from a centrally managed organization toward a studio-based ecosystem.
Founded in 2013, Teknasyon has developed hundreds of digital products that have collectively surpassed 5 billion downloads worldwide. Today, the ecosystem manages over 450 people, with a focus on building deep, long-lasting products that resonate on a global scale.
A shift toward “Zero-Friction” growth
With The Venture OS, Teknasyon aims to make its growth approach more agile and scalable. Under this model, each project becomes an independent global startup studio responsible for its own strategic decisions, priorities, and pace of work. However, these studios will continue to draw on Teknasyon’s “Playbook” support—leveraging years of expertise in technology, data, marketing, and operations.
Mustafa Vardalı, Co-Founder and CEO of Teknasyon, emphasized that this is not just an organizational change but a new way of creating value.

“At Teknasyon, we’ve built strong products, teams, and systems to date. Now we’re bringing this accumulated expertise into a more focused, entrepreneurial, and scalable structure. The Venture OS is the name of our approach to creating new products, new teams, and new areas of growth.”
In a social media announcement, Vardalı further explained that Teknasyon now views itself as a “collective operating system” rather than a vertically managed company. This shift allows the ecosystem to help global technology ventures grow with minimal friction through collective intelligence rather than corporate hierarchies.
Commitment to Vision
Having seen the evolution of the mobile landscape from the early days of iTunes to today’s complex Google Play and App Store environment, Vardalı’s approach focuses on building world-renowned products that millions of people use every day. In the mobile industry where trends come and go, Teknasyon prioritizes building a strong vision to ensure long-term success.
The transformation is summarized by the phrase “Same spirit, bigger universe,” reflecting the intent to preserve the company’s original entrepreneurial culture while creating an environment where independent studios can take greater ownership and risks.
Starship Academy and Future Investments
Alongside the structural change, Teknasyon is consolidating its talent initiatives under a new umbrella called Starship Academy. This corporate learning structure aims to establish a sustainable talent development system that contributes to both Teknasyon’s growing universe and the broader Turkish technology ecosystem.
Furthermore, The Venture OS makes room for external studios to join the ecosystem through investments, extending Teknasyon’s role beyond internal product development into venture creation and startup support.
By decentralizing its operations while providing a centralized infrastructure, Teknasyon joins a growing number of global tech companies experimenting with studio models that combine startup-like autonomy with shared operational resources. As the mobile app and SaaS sectors continue to evolve, Teknasyon believes this flexible structure will be the key to building the next generation of global technology giants.
