Industry veteran William Schmitt joins Nifty Games

Today, Nifty Games announced that William Schmitt is joining the company. The industry veteran will join as General Manager for a yet-to-be-announced officially licensed sports product. In February, Nifty Games announced that it’s partnering with the NBA and NBPA to bring licensed basketball games to mobile. Furthermore, we think that Mr. Schmitt will work on these new projects.

William Schmitt has over 26 years of experience

Mr. Schmitt is one of the well-known and highly respected figures in the video games industry. He had roles at AAA publishers and developers such as Electronic Arts, Activision, THQ and Disney Interactive. Before joining Nifty Games, Mr. Schmitt was an Executive Producer at Scopely Inc. He worked there on the popular WWE Champions game that is available on iOS and Android platforms.
