According to Sensor Tower estimates, Solo Leveling Arise, launched in May 2024, has surpassed $100 million in gross revenue in just three months. Based on the popular web novel turned Korean webtoon and anime, the game’s success highlights the franchise’s ability to engage fans across different media and attract new ones.
In its launch month, Solo Leveling: Arise ranked as the #1 hack and slash game, #2 action game, and #14 mobile game globally by revenue on the App Store and Google Play, outperforming titles like PUBG Mobile, Genshin Impact, and Clash of Clans. Although its revenue has declined since its launch, it quickly reached the $100 million milestone.

The game’s success is especially prominent in South Korea, contributing 33% of total revenue. This is to be expected as South Korea is the fourth largest mobile game market by revenue, and the game takes place in South Korea. South Korea was followed by the US with 19%. Asia led in downloads, with India and Indonesia at the forefront, while the US, Brazil, and South Korea ranked third, fourth, and fifth, respectively.
