The platform will be released with over 5,000 songs, and more songs will be added weekly. Thanks to partnerships with big names in the music industry, such as Sony and Universal, the service will include a plethora of famous musicians.

There’s also a special promotion for previous Rocksmith and Rocksmith+ beta users. These users will get an extra one month for a three-month subscription or three months for a yearly subscription. System requirements for the service are kept to a minimum to ensure it’s available for everyone.

Ubisoft claims that the guitar learning service has helped over five million people to follow their dreams of learning how to play an instrument. Rocksmith+ is developed by Ubisoft San Francisco and boasts many features to ensure ease of learning.

A real-time feedback system will analyze the user for mistakes and keep track of performance to provide instant suggestions. The system will help novice musicians see their shortcomings in real time and should accelerate improvement.

Another feature named Adaptive Difficulty will determine whether the song difficulty is appropriate for the player. Adaptive Difficulty will lower the level if the player makes many mistakes or vice versa if they’re making none.

Rocksmith+ will be playable by providing a connection between the PC and the player’s guitar. This can be achieved with either the Rocksmith Real Tone Cable or the Rocksmith+ Connect mobile app. The cable is sold separately, but the mobile app is free and saves learners from the hassle of inserting another wire into the system.

Rocksmith+ will be online with one month, three month, and twelve month subscription options. Ubisoft has also stated that a mobile version of the service will be available later this fall.
