Nintendo shared The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom gameplay

Nintendo shared The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom gameplay showcasing the game’s new mechanics, enemies, and Link’s new powers. The Legend of Zelda arrives on Nintendo Switch on May 12.

Series producer Eiji Aonuma presented 10-minute gameplay. Gameplay takes place on a floating island above Hyrule. Link’s new ability Recall, which he can go back in time, is shown at the start. Aonuma said, “There are lots of ways to reach the Sky Island,” as he demonstrated Link’s Recall ability.

Two more new abilities were presented in the gameplay. Ultrahand allows Link to construct vehicles and Ascend, which allows Link to literally ascend into the upper floors.

Eiji Aonuma confirmed that the game finished the development stage and is ready for its release on May 12.
