Azerbaijani game studio PolyDream raises $500,000 for FPS title White Desert

Azerbaijani game development studio PolyDream has announced that it has secured a $500,000 investment for its upcoming first-person shooter (FPS) title, White Desert. Company’s CEO Fariz Badalzadeh confirmed the funding via LinkedIn.

Founded in 2022, the Azerbaijani studio has a mission to deliver high-quality, cross-platform gaming experiences built from a fusion of technology and creativity.

In 2022, the company secured an initial funding round, valuing the studio at around USD 4 million, which indicated early investor confidence in its roadmap.

White Desert is set in a post-war Egyptian environment, where two competing factions fight for control. The game is set to blend stealth, action, and puzzle elements within a narrative framework.
