Gardenscapes has passed the $3 billion player spend threshold.

A new one has been added to the list of mobile games with the highest player spending worldwide. The mobile game called Gardenscapes, released by Playrix in August 2016, has been a huge success, surpassing a total of $3 billion in player spendings since its release. Sensor Tower Store Intelligence shared data confirming that the game has grossed more than $3 billion worldwide on the App Store and Google Play.

A successful blend of the Match 3 genre with strong storytelling, Gardenscapes was also one of the first innovations to come to this category, spearheading a “Puzzle & Decorate” game that became a hugely lucrative subgenre in its own right.

Gardenscapes was the #2 Puzzle & Decorate game worldwide, raising $405 million in the first half of 2021. Homescapes ranked first with $469.2 million, while Fishdom, again by Playrix, ranked third.
