The world’s number one mobile game publisher in terms of downloads, Voodoo announced that it had surpassed six billion downloads across its hyper-casual and hybrid gaming-app spectrum. Voodoo, which has more than 200 games in its growing portfolio and announced that 2021 exceeded five billion downloads at the end of May, announced that it has reached 6 billion downloads this month.
Voodoo has some of the world’s most downloaded mobile games in its portfolio, such as Helix Jump with over 800 million downloads and Paper.io 2 and Aquapark.io with over 270 million downloads each.
With its decision last November, Voodoo announced that it would launch new ideas, gaming competitions, and Voodoo events to help the studio community achieve success and drive this year’s trends. This year it will double the hyper-casual and hybrid-casual.
Alexander Shea, Head of Publishing at Voodoo, said:
“Reaching 6 billion downloads is a great way to kick start a fantastic year for us here at Voodoo. We’re delighted to be working with hyper-casual’s most talented studios and congratulations to all those who have contributed to hitting this milestone”
Also, in December last year, Voodoo announced its plans to bring blockchain gaming to the mobile space by investing in and supporting talented or promising studios that want to succeed in the blockchain segment.
